Science- Term 5 activities
Our science topic is 'The Living World'. This term's focus is on animals, including humans. Here you can find all the documents and information you need to access the learning suggestions. You may wish to do some or all of these, and you can do them in any order.
Espresso now has a unit on 'Habitats' under the KS1 Science tab. There are different activities there that link well to this term's science.
Candy Kaleidoscope
This really simple experiment is really fun. All you need to do is assemble skittles or something similarly colourful in a circle on a plate (white is best), then add warm water in the centre until it reaches the circle, then sit and watch. My children were really fascinated by it.
As rainbows are very much in theme, have a go at this experiment. I did it with my kids last week and it really works!
