Northleaze believes passionately in the importance of reading for pleasure. We will be sharing quality texts in our English lessons but also as class stories at the end of each day which are chosen carefully and designed for the children to simply listen and enjoy. 

The book list provided is not compulsory but it does provide a few ideas that will hopefully help you to find something that engages your child. These books can be read independently or enjoyed with an adult. We always love to hear of new and exciting books so if you stumble across something you and your child love, please let us know.
