Visit from Jethro, servant to Samuel Pepys
We had a surprise visitor from the past! Jethro, a servant to Samuel Pepys, came to tell us about what life was like in 1666, the year of the Great Fire of London. We learned about how the fire started, how it spread so quickly and how Samuel Pepys spoke to the King to let him know how serious it was.
