In art we have been learning about pointillism. We have explored the work by Georges Seurat. We looked at his paintings and talked about what we liked, didn't like and wondered about. Then we experimented with the best resources to create the dots. We tried pencil tips, felt tip pens, fingers, straws, cotton buds and paintbrushes. We realised cotton buds were the best. Finally we created our own pointillism pictures.
We have been working very hard in Maths. We have been counting forwards and backwards, comparing and ordering numbers and finding one more and less.
