We will be continuing to use White Rose for our maths learning this week. Each day, watch the video and then either print the worksheet or just write the answers on paper.
This week, we will be measuring mass and capacity. Maybe you could do some cooking and measure using kitchen scales. You could also find a measuring jug and measuring different amounts of water (it's especially fun to put food colouring in the water!).
Can you do some Doodle Maths every day?
Well done Year 2! You were the top class last week!
Can you stay on top?
Monday 29th June
Today, we are learning to measure mass in grams. If you have some scales that measure in grams, you could have fun exploring the mass of different objects at home.

Tuesday 30th June
In today's lesson, we are learning to measure mass in kilograms.
From 9:40, the lesson moves onto some more challenging problems using balance scales. If you find this too tricky at the moment, don’t worry. You will still be able to complete all of the worksheet apart from question 6.

Wednesday 1st July
Today, we will be comparing volume. If the weather is nice, you could explore volume outside by doing lots of pouring of water with different size containers. Alternatively, you could use a sink or the bath.

Thursday 2nd July
In today's lesson, we are exploring millilitres. For question 5 on the worksheet, you could write down your method instead.

Friday 3rd July
Today, you can either do the Friday challenge on the Bitesize website by clicking here. Or, you could have a go at this 'odd times even' puzzle.
