This week, we will be exploring area and perimeter. For an extra challenge, you could work out the area and perimeter of your bedroom or garden!
The lessons are still using White Rose and everything has been downloaded ready for you below. Each day, watch the video and then either print the worksheet or write the answers on paper or in your book.

Today's lesson is on area and perimeter.
You will need a ruler to complete some of the tasks on the worksheet.

Tuesday 23rd June
Today, you will be finding the area of a triangle. Don't forget the formula - base x height / 2.

Wednesday 24th June
Today, you will be finding the area of a parallelograms (remember, a parallelogram is basically just a wonky rectangle... the formula for the area is the same as a rectangle!).
If you don’t have squared paper for question 1, you could use a ruler to draw a grid and the shape instead.
