This week, we will continue using the White Rose resources but everything has been downloaded ready for you below. You can either print the worksheets off to complete or write the answers in a book or on paper.
We are starting a new topic in maths this week called 'Angles and Lines'. Lines can be straight or curved. The space between two straight lines is called an angle. You will be learning about a special type of angle which is called a 'right angle'. Right angles are 90 degrees. If you have a protractor at home, you could have a look at one and try to find where 90 degrees is. Once you know what a right angle is, you could have a right angle hunt around your home and see how many you can find.
You will need a ruler for your maths lessons this week.
Try to do Doodle Maths every day!
Last week, Year 5 were the top class - Oh no!
Come on Year 3, let's beat them this week!
Monday 22nd June
Today, we will be learning about right angles in shapes. You may want to make a right angle ‘checker’ by tearing off the corner of a piece of paper. The straight (non-torn) edges meet to make a right angle.
For questions 3 and 4 on the worksheet, if you can't talk to a partner, write down your ideas.
