This week, we will be continuing with our work on algebra and then also starting to explore measures and specifically looking at miles and kilometres. Maybe you could go on a run or cycle and convert your distance travelled from kilometres to miles (don't forget to log your miles for the summer fair too!).
The lessons are still using White Rose and everything has been downloaded ready for you below. Each day, watch the video and then either print the worksheet or write the answers on paper or in your book.
Don't forget to do Doodle Maths every day!
Which class will top the table?
Monday 15th June
Today, we are solving two-step equations.
In the question on the lesson video at 5:45, the two part-whole models are separate: the cube represents a different quantity in each one.
For many of the questions on the worksheet, drawing out bar models (as shown in the lesson) will support you in identifying the steps you need to take and in which order to take them.
