Maths

We will be continuing to use White Rose for our maths learning this week. Each day, watch the video and then either print the worksheet or just write the answers on paper.

This week, we will be exploring fractions. To start off with, you could try cutting or folding objects into half. When you cut something in half, how many pieces do you get? How accurate can you be with your folding or cutting? Make sure it's equal!

Can you do some Doodle Maths every day?

Monday 8th June

Today, we are learning about Unit Fractions. For question 7 on the worksheet, you may not be able to talk to a partner but you could just write down the other unit fractions that you can think of.

Today, we are learning about non-unit fractions. For the second part of question 7, just write down your own examples on the lines. You could see if an adult at home can think of any different ones.
