This week, we will be continuing with our learning on fractions. We will still be using White Rose but all of the videos and worksheets have been downloaded for you to view below. If you don't have a printer, don't worry, just write the answers on paper.
Also, try to do Doodle Maths everyday!
Monday 1st June
Today we will be adding two or more fractions. For question 5 on the worksheet, it would be a good idea to draw as well as write your solution.

Tuesday 2nd June
Today, we will be subtracting fractions. Drawing out fraction bars can help with some of the questions on the worksheet, particularly those that deal with fractions greater than one whole.

Wednesday 3rd June
Today, you will be finding fractions of quantities. Knowing your times tables will really help today! The last part of lesson video includes finding fractions that are greater than one. Don’t worry if you find this too challenging – it isn’t on the Y4 curriculum! You may also want to leave out the last question of 3d) on the worksheet if its too hard...or maybe you are up for the challenge!

Thursday 4th June
Today, we will be calculating quantities. As with yesterday's lesson, the video moves onto some fractions that are greater than one whole. It is explained very clearly but don’t worry if it is a step too far for you at the moment as it’s not Year 4 learning. You may then want to miss out question 4h) on the worksheet if it's too tricky.

Friday 5th June
For today's Friday challenge, you can either do the Friday challenge on the White Rose website or try this puzzle below. You will need some paper and probably scissors.
