This week we will be learning more about fractions and challenging ourselves to think about tenths. We will still be using the White Rose lessons but they have all been downloaded ready for you below. Watch the video and then have a go at the worksheets. 

Monday 1st June 

Today's lesson is about making a whole. What does 'whole' mean? Is it the same as 'hole'? Can you cut some items into fractions and then add them together to make a whole?

Tuesday 2nd June 

Today, we will be exploring tenths. A tenth is when something is split into 10 pieces. 1/10 is one of those pieces. Maybe you can cut something into tenths. Can you add tenths? How many tenths make a whole?

Thursday 4th June 

Today, we will be looking at how our knowledge of tenths as fractions, can help us to understand decimals.

Friday 5th June 

Today, we will be placing fractions on a number line. You might want to print or draw a number line to help you. You don't have to be really accurate, today is about making a good estimate.
