Maths

This week, we will be exploring mass, capacity and volume. It could be fun to look at some of these things while cooking and baking at home. If you follow a recipe, you could have a go at measuring some ingredients together.

For most of our maths lessons, you will have a video to watch and then an activity sheet to have a go at. There is also an answers sheet for parents! Everything you need is below.

Monday 1st June

Today we will be measuring mass. If you have some scales at home, you could get them out to look at and measure some objects.

Today, you will be comparing mass. Think about the different language we use when we compare two objects.

Wednesday 3rd June

Today we will be measuring liquids and exploring capacity and volume. If you have a measuring jug in the kitchen, it would be great to get that out and have a play at filling it with different amounts and reading the scales.
